UTSGLiterature of Exile and Immigration
This course examines novels and poems by writers from Eastern Europe that thematize exile, migration, and displacement. Alongside literary works from the twentieth and twenty first centuries, we will read theoretical essays that speak to concepts of home, nation, and language. Taught in English. Readings in English.
