Contemporary Women Writers from Eastern Europe

This course examines post-1989 prose works by women writers that engage with questions of memory and history, including the legacies of war, trauma, and political transformation. We will also consider how women’s voices both reflect and reshape cultural narratives of the past and present. Readings in English from across Eastern Europe.
