UTSGIntermediate Middle Egyptian II
A continuation of NML240Y1 and NML340H1, in which the student is exposed to a range of hieroglyphic texts in the Middle Egyptian dialect and will be introduced to the Egyptian book script, or Cursive, Hieratic. Sources from a range of backgrounds will be read, focusing in particular on literary religious, and administrative texts. Understanding of the grammar and syntax covered in NML240Y1 and NML340H1 will be deepened further. All texts will be read in the original.
