Linear equations and first-order systems. Fundamental matrices, Wronskians. Non-linear equations. Existence and uniqueness theorems. Method of power series. Elementary qualitative theory; stability, phase plane, stationary points. Oscillation theorem, Sturm comparison. Applications in mechanics, physics, chemistry, biology and economics.
