UTSGIntroduction to Italian Literature
This course provides an introduction and a broad overview of Italian literature and its development by focusing on a wide range of authors and masterpieces from different historical periods and in different literary genres (poetry, fiction, theatre). Emphasis is on critical methods for analyzing literary texts that aim to equip students with close-reading skills for the interpretation of works of literature.
