Questions arise as whether we ought to and who will benefit or be harmed. This course considers the far-reaching bioethical implications of emerging bio-technology. Topics to be explored include-but are not limited to- ethical considerations in emerging reproductive technologies, genetic alteration/genetic enhancement. Use of life support technologies, synthetic life, life extension.
