This advanced course in French aims to provide students with a broader understanding and appreciation of French and Francophone culture through the reading and discussion of a variety of texts and multimedia materials. Emphasis is placed on mastery of language skills such as reading comprehension and vocabulary, oral and written communication.

Prereq: FSL321Y1/ FSL322H1 or placement in FSL420H1 based on the results of the French Placement Test.Breadth: Creative & Cultural RepresentationsExcl: FSL421Y1, FSL442H1, FSL443H1, FSL472H1. Students who are fluent French speakers or whose command of the French language is equivalent to near-native proficiency must contact the Department of French before enrolling in this course.
