UTSGIntroduction to Geochemistry
This course introduces students to the basic principles of geochemistry that are used to understand Earth system processes. Topics will include the origin and distribution of elements and isotopes on Earth, mineral compositions, phase diagrams, weathering, and aqueous geochemistry. The course will also cover the thermodynamic and kinetic principles that govern chemical reactions in nature.
