Advanced Study in Cinema and Media Practice

This seminar uses research creation, critical making, digital humanities, videographic criticism, or other practice-based methods to the humanistic study of cinema and moving-image media, at an advanced level. Students will pursue advanced research projects grounded in these approaches. Topics and methods vary by semester and instructor. This seminar is designed for advanced Specialist and Major students in Cinema Studies, but it does not presume prior practice-based knowledge. Pre-enrolment balloting for 400-Level seminars will start in late May to early June, opening roughly five weeks before the July enrolment period begins.
