This course explores the complex interactions between the nervous and immune systems in health and disease. Topics include immune surveillance, microglial function, and neuroinflammation in conditions such as multiple sclerosis (MS), Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and other neurodegenerative disorders. Emphasis is placed on recent research and their clinical relevance.
