Ion Channel Diversity and Function

This course provides a broad overview of the different types of ion channels that play critical roles in cellular electrical signaling. We discuss the major phylogenetic classes of ion channels, structural attributes focusing on mechanisms for activation and gating, and contributions to human health and disease.
