Human Growth and Development

This course examines variability in biological growth and development in the genus Homo from both evolutionary and non-evolutionary perspectives. Emphasis is placed on exploring the adaptive and cultural contributors to variability in human growth patterns. Case studies from the Evolutionary Anthropology, Bioarchaeology, and Human Biology literature are used. Science credit
